We are really pleased to announce that this month we are rolling out new gluten-free bars to a store near you.
We know that many of you were disappointed when our recipe change meant our bars were no longer gluten-free.
So we’ve been working hard in the background to make it happen. You’ll start seeing the gluten-free bars in your local Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods first. Timings depend on stock levels, so please bear with us.
They will be available online very soon!

How do I know if a bar is gluten-free?
Look out for the GF icon on the front of the packaging. The packaging will always reflect what’s inside. So if it's gluten-free on the outside, it's gluten-free on the inside.
Is there anything else different about these bars?
Nope. It’s the same nutritional values and flavor as before!
Why did Misfits have non gluten-free bars in the first place?
When we set out to improve our bars, by making them softer and keeping all the macros you loved, we also had to find a new factory. Our original intention was always to keep the bars gluten-free, and our recipe actually never included gluten.
However, we have faced supply issues with Maltitol and have had to use a "wheat-derived" version in previous productions. While this ingredient doesn’t actually contain gluten once refined, regulations require us to list wheat as an allergen.Obviously this has not been ideal, but the good news is that now we've got a new supply of Maltitol, have conducted extensive testing and can label our bars as gluten-free once again.
